SISTERS
Two sisters working on the same quilt tugging and cooperating. This is a purposely uneven diptych to emphasize the emotional unresolved aspects of siblings.
PASTEL NATIVITY
A pastel rendition of the Nativity scene worked in an abstract. Moving and joyful in color and line. The colorful representation and the introduction of angel wings add to the wonder and joy felt by Mary and Joseph on the birth of the little baby. Jesus is shown tightly wrapped in a green blanket at the center as Mary gently lays him down.
SAD MADONNA
MOTHER AND HER CHILD IN DECEMBER
It is cold but a mother and child are warm sharing some outdoor chore in the winter months. The mother, concentrates on her gathering, while the child looks out in wonder as the snow falls.
